That's a tough question to answer. Even I don't have time to watch all of them & CyberLive's Gen 2 hasn't even debuted yet. That said, my two favorites from what I have watched are:

Lisa from Tsunderia(black & purple sheep). Her game taste is meh, but she's very cute & bratty and can sing pretty well. She said she may want to try EU4 so if you're into /vst/ she MIGHT fill that in for you a bit.

Shee from Kawaii(yellow meido). Haven't watched her too much but her shorts are cute & she seems to have good game taste since she recently picked up Metro 2033.

I don't get where the overly designed part is coming from, a lot of them are actually pretty simple if you just look at them. I think if anything, simple features making a design that looks unique is important and CL did just that. 3/5 are pretty generic, and the other two just have 1 thing that makes them look complex.

They are getting too interwoven at the moment. They all depend on one another. Even Cyberlive is slowly having their black list lifted in regards of other small corpos acknowledging them. They'd need to get CONSIDERABLY big to even think of doing such a thing, aka bigger than Niji EN, and it's a struggle to gain an additional 100 viewers for any of these chubbas.
