What they need to do is actually follow the Valkyrae (was it her?) model of unlisting and "reeling" the streams. Medium length content is easier for a clipwatcher to give it the time of day over a full length stream. If YouTube ever decides to simply expand the time available for clips, then you won't even need to go through the process of editing unless there's a yab. The most important thing is that you solve the "lost view" problem by becoming the direct source for entertainment material. Clippers can simply be relegated to translation if they're actually fans and not just glorified leeches.
