Watching someone fuck around in a DAW, looping the same shit over and over, would be terrible content. I don't blame her for avoiding it. Drawing streams are nice because you just hear them chatting and can occasionally look at the screen to see where they're at. Music streams, as exciting as they sound, would filter everyone so hard. People don't realise how tedious it can be and how long it can take for an instrumental to finally take off. I watched that stream of her collecting samples and it's clear she has no idea what she's doing in a DAW, but it was an early stream so maybe she was just playing it safe?

I'm not criticising Mori as an artist and performer, just her surprising lack of experience with the production/mixing/mastering side of things considering she's been at it for quite a while now. I think Mori's reputation for being somewhat competent with the technical side of things comes mostly from her ignorant fanbase so I don't hold it against her.

If she really is as involved as people say, she should do 5-10 minute update videos on tracks/EPs she's currently working on, or ideas she's playing with. Recording and mixdown progress. That would be really cool to see.
