by far the saddest vtuber moment that i've experienced was artia's graduation. especially how even at the very end, she just said to be happy because she wanted people to be happy. civia's was pretty sad too, but artia was my oshi so it hit way harder

A moment that wasn't graduation or tragedy that stuck with me is when Leos talked about vtubing never lasting forever, and that people can't just stream for dozens of years and you'll eventually have to say goodbye even if it's so enjoyable in the moment. And that, it's better to enjoy the time now than worry about the inevitable. Not necessarily sad but sort of melancholy.

Besides, hearing someone that we're used to being happy and cheerful all the time breaking down like this just hit extremely hard. Hell, it could've been a sad, drawn-out sigh and I still would've felt terrible.

Recently Roboco-san has been troubled by the idea that people will leave her for the newer 6th gen holo's, but she's never worried things like that even when 5th gen JP or 2nd gen EN debuted. She's always been really cheerful and positive despite being one of the most unpopular holos, and seeing her finally break down and cry on stream recently really worried me and made me cry with her.
She mentioned how amazing the new 6th gen was, but said something that made her robosa worry about her and send her encouraging SCs saying they would never abandon her and she cried for a full 8 minutes despite trying her hardest to stop the entire time. She was obviously partly upset and anxious about being left behind by the newer generations, but also touched that she had plenty of faithful members that gave her encouraging messages and SC.
She's always been really positive and cheerful, and I just hope she can hang in there, because she is definitely one of the least subbed to or watched holos, but also one of my favorites.
