Ever since I saw this picture the first time a very particular idea has been stuck in my head, and I don't trust my own writing skills to properly get it out myself, so here goes if someone else feels inspired enough by it:

The year is 203X. All the Hololive gens we know today have officially graduated. While most of them moved on with their lives, some couldn't let go of the entertainer life - but being too old or burnt out for idol performance, they went into the water trade instead. Pictured is their particular cluster of bars and clubs somewhere in Japan.

>Pub S-Corn is Fubuki's pride and joy, helped and staffed by close friends Mio, Flare and Watame who all share her nostalgia for the old days. Karaoke is available for patrons and staff alike, but Watame hogs it for Watame Night Fever every Saturday night. The regulars are old members of their respective channels coming in almost every night.

As far as writing prompts go, I guess "one regular evening at Pub S-Corn" is what I had in mind, as it's the one establishment I put the most thought in. But I won't object to anyone else feeling inspired by the setting as-is, whatever might come out of it.

I am. It's 60 degrees outside and I'm as comfy as ever writing out here with a nice cup of tea in hand.

I'm just pondering somewhat on the size of this project and how far I want to take it. I spent a significant amount of effort writing dialogue with a side character to set up the story - but it might be too much setup. The outline of how things will go is pretty settled but I could write a whole novel between points A B and C.

It also doesn't help that it's difficult to adapt Polka's personality onto this story early on but I'm trying to keep it in mind as we move further along so it at least feels like the same character, with just very different circumstances.

I've never been invested in the company all too much. I had a lot of fun watching them in 2020, but I've never been a stream watcher other than Watame's Night Fever as background noise while I did other shit. I believe that Hololive peaked at the beginning of their Ark era but that being said I'm biased because that's when I started getting into it. Shortly before Coco however, I got into an indie, really into an indie. I became a stream watcher and the time I would spend watching clips I'd watch her streams live. After Coco, I watch a clip or two every two days and that's about it. I didn't care about her content this year but 2020 she was the GOAT. Not to mention that most of the focus is around EN now and I don't care about them at all.

In short, I was never too invested in Hololive, they were just entertainment to me. I have a lot of fun with their talents but I would not be affected if they were all gone tomorrow.

Pointers about the girls' interactions are helpful so cheers for that. I have something in mind for the comfier tone, but I also kept in mind some other Anon's idea about a setting similar to Metal Slug. Because of that, I see it having a bit more drama and action than you might imagine, with the comfier bits mainly coming in at the calm of the start and end sections. I haven't put anything to paper yet, but I have something in mind about a buff Gen 0 reenacting the Battle of Midway against some of the other members in a kind of civil war. This arises due to some time travel shenanigans involving Ame and Kronii, and I'm aware it could get convoluted with wanting to include a few more characters. To make sure the original prompt isn't pushed aside with where I want to take the story, it will likely take a bit longer..

The holodeath request definitely isn't something I feel pressured to write seriously about. If no one has picked it up after quite a while, I'll take a crack at it.
