Usually lurking first time contributor here. I made a chart of time streamed(in minutes) for ENs from Holo and Niji, because someone asked for it in a different thread that got archived.
Notes:
1) Pomu was still streaming at cut-off point(midnight my time), so I only counted three hours of that stream because she was three hours in at my midnight.
2) Sana didn't stream for the first ten days because LETS GOOOOOO. But she still streamed more than Kronii and Fauna combined, and almost as much as Gura and Ame combined.
3) Gnumeric a shit, I need to install LibreOffice already. I wanted to do nicer labels, show time in hours, etc but this piece of trash is too limited.

Stars got negated to collab with the holos at first so that made them hard to grow like the holos. The graduations/firings also took them hard, like Kaoru was their rising star but he had to fuck some indie and was fired.
Then the EOP started joining and while helped at first, now is really low even when they pander to them.

It remains to be seen tho, Mado doesn't carry the average CCV for each stream so I can't make a comparative chart including that metric.
Given that Kuzuha had several streams under 20k (even under 15k) this month and didn't have as many long streams with high CCV as in previous months I doubt his numbers would be significantly better than hour long high CCV streamers like the ones that outpaced him, specially Miko.

The median (of peak CCV) is more or less "immune" to outliers because it represents the number which marks the point where half the streams are above it and half are below it.

There's a couple of logical explanations to all that, though.
July 2021 was the peak of the tournament frenzy with CR Cup 6, which was one of the most watched by far.
August 2021 was dominated mostly by Koshien, and although there was the Vsaikyou tournament it simply wasn't as popular as the CR Cup given that it focused more on Vtubers rather than the general population.
September had no real tournaments and so viewership fell accordingly.
October had a CR Cup, but a mix of Japanese reopening and a shit patch made viewership lower.
Rather than Apex declining per se, it seems more just that it's reverting back to the mean it was at before.
