Honestly, I feel like she needed to dirty up her voice on the chorus. Suisei was too clean, and it kind of robbed the chorus of it's bite which is strange sounding against the effects they put on the verse at points. I like Sugar, but damn if she doesn't show why enunciation is important when singing. The way she kind of mush mouths all the hard sounds that English has that Japanese doesn't really makes her sound so much worse then she is, since when she starts singing Japanese songs she's actually pretty good. Oh, sure. I'm not knocking her even if I don't watch her all that much, and her work ethic is impressive, but being cute and funny in the traditional sense isn't enough given how many similar girls are linked around here and don't have the same numbers. It helped her quite a bit that she was streaming so often, and it helped her that she wasn't afraid to do Western songs, even devoting entire streams to them at time. Being able to engage with English posters in chat, even if she's clearly not fluent, also helped a whole lot. There's a reason why people like 88Nia and Edo did English learning streams.

He did much better work with Suisei. The heavy autotune at the start really doesn't mesh with style of the song, the vocal effects on the chorus sound strange, and conversely when she's actually given room to rap, I don't like how strained Mori sounds during the section around 1:50. At some points it feels like she's really having to stretch syllables to fill the length of the measure, but it's not in a smooth manner since she doesn't have that slide to her voice so instead it sounds very amatuerish. Similar to the problem that she had during some of the sections of her Boogey collabs where it felt like Mori wrote the lyrics before hearing the final version of the track and decided to just try and get them to fit by messing around with her delivery, but it just doesn't work since she has to speed up and slow down with them so much it feels artificial. Kind of surprising for her to have so many mediocre to bad ones after the high of EoaL.

None of them have really stood out for me as a definitive version like I've heard with other songs, so I'd say probably my favorite is Kaf x Kafu's since it's an interesting take to hear the two side by side and the song was written for their voices so it fits very nicely. I also like the growl Luci has in her voice when doing the chorus, but honestly, I think the approach I liked the most was Anya's even even if she wasn't a good enough singer to quite bring it up to the level of everyone else. Struck a very good balance between being human while still carrying some of the more unique elements of the original.
