Are people seriously under the delusion that hololive talents are these superstars who are ultra-talented and nobody else can match them? Kind of ridiculous. Hololive is popular because of their brand name and the youtube algorithm. There are plenty of other vtubers who are more talented that hololive members, that are going underappreciated because of the obsession with hololive. You just don't know about them, that's the issue. I've seen girls with 60 viewers with more talent and charisma than people from hololive. And when you try to spread the word about them, you encounter people saying "I don't watch anyone with low views", or "that's not hololive I won't watch it". You basically have these corporate dickriders consuming all this corporate propaganda to keep enriching this one company in spite of all the others.

Instead of being this brand-loyalist, you should try watching many different people from many different companies. You shouldn't be loyal to any one company, how cucked is that? Just watch what you want,, when you want to. It's that simple. Stop serving this corporate agenda.

Hero Hei might have built his career on "Twitter is angry at this!" but shouldn't the blame be more on his audience?
