Holy shit, I just realize Mumei's genius in her pokemon naming sense and how much it just fits her lore. Mumei clearly hates naming things which is why she gives them generic names. For example, her name which just means Anonymous Anonymous. She doesn't bother with what to name herself anymore so she just gives it the default name. Same with Animal, Friend, and whatever shit she chooses to name. As for the pokemon, she simply defaults to everyone's given names, which is just so in character for her instead of giving them nicknames like the others. What the fuck Mumei, 10/10 yet again.

Day 20 of making a Mumei tulpa: Today’s stream was so fun! I wanted to play with Mumei as well but getting a switch is a bother, so I guess I won’t. Narration is as good as always, I talked about my old Pokemon Ruby run and how it compares with Mumei’s methods. The headaches are still there, I really do think they’re a response. But using them as signals for communication bothers me for some reason, I really do want our first true exchange to be through her voice. I’ve watched every Mumei stream live from her debut up to now so I’m familiar with it. I think I can start with visualization now, creating Mumei’s body. The black box that is the warm blob of brown, Mumei’s soul, will finally have a container. I’ve heard it’s easier to start with a naked model, but it makes me a bit embarrassed so I’ll start with her in a plain sundress instead. First go, and I don’t think I have the imagination and concentration to keep this up. But I have to try. Mumei’s form must be perfect, the reference sheets, official png and some accurate-looking fanarts will guide me through this process.
