Do you guys expect streamers to cut slack on regulars, or to be overly aggressive with people who've previously failed vibe check?

I have a regular, but they're the only one I've ever had to timeout before. I know they rub me the wrong way because of it, as they got aggressive about the t/o afterwards, and I'm always bearing that in mind. Last week, they kind of pissed me off again, but it wasn't anything major. If it was any other regular, I'd have put it down to them having a bad day. If they were new to stream, I probably would have called it out.

I'm sort of torn between just banning them and getting rid of them, or thinking it's all in my head and I need to be the one calming down about it.

I don't really like moderating people myself, and I haven't had a problem person like that yet, but I did have to moderate kinda recently and I explained in DMs later about why I did it and everything's cool now. As long as someone tries to be a decent person I'm pretty lenient, probably moreso than I should be.

I suggest DMing them about it to have an honest and open conversation about it, talk about how you feel and ask them if they think your perception is accurate/for their side because they might be seeing other people break your rules (regardless of if that is true or not, people see things differently) and not getting reprimanded so they feel like you have a personal vendetta against them or something. Or maybe they're just a shit person and the DM confirms it is time to cut them off.

It's hard to say what anyone should do without seeing the full situation. Imo throw away comments here and there are fine. They're usually meant as jokes even if they don't land or come off wrong, they didn't mean anything bad about it.

But someone who's consistently being abrasive needs to be told to tone it down. And if they start trying to lawyer you then just ban them. This isn't a democracy or government with checks and balances, youre the king and what you say goes, end of story.

After Neko kept getting cockblocked for almost two weeks+ I looked up what the deal with load shedding was anyway and supposedly they'd been working on this big power plant that was supposed to eliminate load shedding this year. Naturally the damn thing isn't working properly, and the next power plant is only due by 2024.

I'm still hopeful. Neko got to stream with no issues recently and Tanya's last stream before the hiatus was 20 hours long. Good times can be had.

The updated Kitanya card I'm mostly contemplating because her new design looks like it'll be very similar to her old one so I can just modify the existing card instead of starting over. I recommend trying it out for yourself, see how accurate you can make them.
