Unlike Vtuber designs, these were pretty cheap to make, and since they barely do any promotion, I'm assuming the girl gets to keep more than usual as not even rl cabaret clubs would take anywhere close to 50% even without Youtube's cut. Then there was the fact that only a few people were actually popular there, and every customer needed their own vr set. Cabaret clubs work because people come to the establishment itself for fun, and they don't always choose the girl so as long as people are working good shifts, everyone gets paid. With Yumenographia, each girl basically got to choose whenever they wanted to work, but people don't go to the club itself for fun, they want to always pick a certain girl. So you just check the schedule for your oshi, and if she doesn't have a slot open, you're just not going to spend money.
