Yes. I've actually done so several times now. For starters, I got into v-tubers to begin with before English had ever debuted. Pekora and her Slither.io stream had me hooked. But, because I don't understand JPN, I was hard filtered. HoloMyth debuted and I was subscribed to Gura because she actually played horror games. Then she stopped and I switched over to Mori because I like her rap. And it stayed that way for a long while.

Then HoloCouncil came out and the Minecraft era fucking started. I couldn't watch HoloLive anymore and I still can't. I was clicking through YT one day and some girl named Selen Tatsuki popped up in my recommended. She plays Apex apparently and I was like "oh, guess I'll check her out".

...So, long story short, that's why I now simp for literally girl in Lazulight + Selen.

started as a clipfag (my first clip was festival bandaids), then moved onto watching haato's EN streams (mostly just archives). Eventually i learned of a holo who streams OW on twitch, I watched 1 archived stream and immediately knew that nothing could ever top this gamer gremlin.
I long for the day that artia will come back, and temp ban me in chat for winning at marbles. Or look at my minecraft house on her server on stream again...

I really, really loved Ame for months, then when the creatividad and everything else sorta started to get stale and I found myself in love with pink cat. I catch all her streams (which I didn't really do for Ame) and she genuinely brings me so much happiness it's hard to describe. Every second I listen to her voice, my life is better. I've even been able to interact with her on a few occasions, so the parasocial feeling is hard to shake off. She's creative, witty, autistic and I would do anything protect her. I still really like Ame and catch her stream every once in a while but things just feel a bit off. I feel bad for cheating on her, but even she admitted that she's not at her best right now and I can't wait to see her trying new things out again.

I had seen clips but I only REALLY got into Vtubing and Hololive with HoloEN and Ame. Could say Ame was my oshi for a while, my first membership.
Fast-forward me getting deep into JP and how much better they were in every sense and eventually my Oshi became a JP girl and now I only watch EN during dead hours. Aqua been my Oshi for almost a year now.

Ever since Coco graduated, watching vtubers hasn't been the same for me. I loved her deeply as a fan who only wanted to see her be happy no matter what she did. I even went as far as to buy her plush, phone case, and daimon. I still consider her my oshi to this day (roommate doesn't apply), but around the time Nijisanji's EDEN group came along, I've been falling really for Leos Vincent. I'm reaching gosling levels of LOVE when it comes to him. I watch a good chunk of his streams even if my understanding of Japanese is close to "Avid anime watcher" tier, which isn't much if you can only understand basic phrases.
I guess I'll decide whether or not I'll change my oshi to Leos in the next upcoming months. I love the both of them equally, so it might be easier to consider both as my oshis.

I started watching Mori on a regular basis, but eventually started to watch Kiara after knowing more about her. For me is more relatable not only because she is also ESL and European, but also because she is really passionate about what she wants to do, she tried something almost impossible to accomplish and failed as it was the more likely outcome. Yet she didn't give up, and despite having pretty bad luck with Corona during early 2020 she ended up getting the success and recognition she aspired to due to joining hololive.
Kiara has taught me that if you have the passion for something you have to try doing that, despite how unlikely is you end succeeding. Despite failing time after time, you may finding something similar to what you were originally aiming for, and your previous experiences and the skills you learn may one day finally pay off

Minai Karte, my first oshi, retired all of a sudden back in February 2019, two months after debuting her 3D model. I have moved on since then but I still wish for her to come back one day.
Even if my current oshi were to graduate (which would be truly devastating), I know his roommate will continue uploading content, and I'll follow him anywhere. I have nothing to worry about, however, because he's expressed multiple times how Holostars is all he has and is not planning on retiring any time soon.
