In term of streaming, Twitch is the superior plateform by a good margin, so it's only natural.
Because Japanese companies were so clueless at the start they went to the big recognizable name associated with videos "Youtube".
But since then content shifted to almost only streams, which was never Youtube's forte, just some side service in case someone really needed to stream directly from there.

Twitch is where all relevant streamers are, it's the one site for streaming where untapped audience is, and people who stick with the hobby too, not trend-hoppers. Youtube is for kids and normies, twitch is for actual viewers.

In fact it's a good tool to "present" the channel to newcomers, you can put in front a few interest streams, clips or short moments. You could put everything as "highlight" but it's dumb since most streams aren't worth checking a full VODs of months later
