As unlikely as it is for her to be up at this hour, I try texting a few times. As expected, no luck. Next, I try calling her, she almost always wakes up to a phone call. Except this seems to be one of the few times where she doesn't.

The fact she's much taller than me and her eyes, those damn eyes, make her look so threatening that I almost panic and run away. I grit my teeth and miraculously stand my ground, glaring at her.

"You don't even realize YOU'RE the problem, Pekora? It's you, it's your fault. Do you realize how much you've hurt Miko by your indecision? How depressed she was as you left her in limbo?"

I watch as she lets go of the blanket and instead pulls Miko-senpai closer to herself, grabbing and clinging to her body from behind, wrapping both her arms around Miko as she uses it to cover her nakedness. Her head is poking over Miko's shoulder as she lets out a disturbingly sweet voice.

Why people think Sui also has a crush on Miko:
1. Sui watching Miko's SC reading.
2. Eating out often.
3. Joining MC to help Miko even though she had toothache. Considering Sui was able to stream before she helped Miko, as long as Sui doesn't speak then the toothache is still bearable.

Why I think Sui only sees Miko as a friend (counterarguments):
1. Sui watches Toko's early morning talk streams. It's usually around 7am JST. Sui is not a morning person.

I've seen the Toko argument before. I feel her relationship with Toko is fundamentally different.
Toko already had a few rrats about her being married, which turned out to be false, but at her age and how many connections she has overall no one would be surprised if she had someone in her life.
Her relationship with Suisei has always been strictly as great friends, and possibly a bit of a mentor, since Toko has a ton of experience.
Basically with Miko the 'couple' route IS an option that wasn't really available with Toko.
Suisei has always been diligent when came to Miko without anything in return, they wouldn't even talk much or collab at all to begin with, but Suisei was already there.

I feel like during the Marioparty stream Sui was just there as back up for Miko to give moral support while she tried to patch things up with Pekora (the "friends are important" line springs to mind), but, over time they just end up havign fun a lot by themselves, and by the summer fest they are purposely show off their friendship to Pekora to mess with her, and this makes Pekora realise that she could actually lose her best friend forever, which scares her in to making up with Miko.
