Watching TikToks and ordering uber eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day rots your brain. The only thing which consistently rescues her are family outings because it forces her out of a crappy routine. It's effective for about a week and then it runs out of juice. A devolver rampage game. Like Ruiner, or hotline Miami, or my friend Pedro, or that one where you play as a biomonster.
You play as a psychopath with a loose grasp on reality as you rush through a level killing everyone as quickly as possible.
What makes Katana Zero stand out compared to these is how tightly it's designed, and how everything comes together to make the combat extremely satisfying.
It's also the only game where the equivalent to skipping a cutscene is literally telling the person your talking to to fuck off until they leave you alone. For such a minor part of the game it's dialogue system is incredible, and it compensates for lack of voice acting with all sorts of neat tricks.

Better. Hotline Miami has its moments (do you like hurting other people) but is over all a very frustrating game. Katana Zero has exactly one weapon, and all the gameplay is designed around it with tight timing requirements that you can use slow time to make easier but can also be done without it.
Katana Zero is easier overall, with a hard mode which is harder and more satisfying than hotline Miami. It's story is coherent without giving up the unreliable point of view aspect that made hotline cool. All your deaths are sort of canon since your character is precognitive so gameplay, while realtime for is, is actually Zero planning out his route through a room, and you get a replay without the slowmo afterwards.

The story is also interesting since you get a bit of choice which leads to scenes like zero informing your input to kill a homeless man you normally have the option to spare if you've been choosing nothing but good or co-operative options.
