seriously, what is this? some sort of vtuber-in-training branch?

>Teach them how to become vtubers and have them practice streaming

Basically like showcasing some goods (the streamers)

they look pretty decent to me. i'd say the girls are even cuter than some of the actual nijis.
>They have the choice to apply to Nijisanji, or leave to do other activities/apply to other companies/go indie/fuck off
damn, they're being way too generous with this.
okay, i get the idea. but it still seem kinda pointless. if they're "qualified" for this role, they should be good enough to just straight up become "real" vtubers. i mean, there are a lot of vtubers out there with little to zero knowledge of social skills, public speaking, singing, etc and they're doing fine. isn't it kind of a waste of time to put them in this position?

AnyColor is training new V-tubers because apparently the talent pool is so dry now that Cover can’t find anyone for 6th Gen.

It's their idea of expanding into a new frontier, think of it like some kind of show or event. If they truly wanted to train vtubers they would have done it privately instead of creating fanfare like this, making an entirely new channel for these people to ALL stream on. You basically tune in and watch these people "learn" live on stream, root for them and their skills, and wonder where they'll reincarnate into.
Basically making more clicks/discussion for Nijisanji

Those designs are actually kinda fresh, aside from the not-Mayuzumi-Fuyuko girl.

so that's what it is. i kinda see where they're going to. perhaps this was their initial idea. i mean, the old members like mito, deron, rin are all jk.

Basically even if the girl's enter Hololive (or any other agency for that matter), they won't be [Hololive name], they'll be X from VTA's reincarnation.

Not quite, since this kind of practice is everywhere in Japanese entertaiment industries and it work.
From Idol, VA, comedian, and actress/actor.

The idea is to hire people who have no experience and aren't able to commit to a long-term contract with Nijisanji with actual expectations placed upon them. They're being treated as students and therefore aren't expected to make money or anything, just do their own thing and grow.

Then once they're acclimated to vtubing they can either stick with Nijisanji or quit and move somewhere else. In fact they probably fully expect their fans to move with them when they graduate so it's kind of a head start for someone looking to go indie or do their own thing after building a fanbase through Nijisanji.

It seems like a really good deal unless they're being extorted or forced to pay for the program. I'm kinda surprised Cover didn't do it first since this is really common in idol agencies and some idolfags really like supporting inexperienced newbies.

>> No.12467291

>>12467195
Because Cover doesn’t have an issue with creating successful vtubers?
They also don’t want to overcrowd their own agency whereas Nijisanji has no problem debuting 10 more vtubers as long as one of them has moderate success.

Anon what the fuck are you talking about? These students are not part of Nijisanji, just like those VR maid cafes are not part of nijisanji. And in the first place, people who go through this program may even go and join Cover once they're finished. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation at hand
