I find this very hard to believe, they rake in massive amounts of money. Even a bottom of the barrel holo in terms of charts, like Roberu, pulls in 12k a month. With the 30/35/35 split, that's still like $3000 to the vtuber AND $3500 to the company. And then you've got the big earners like Coco, who pull in over 50k for both themselves and Cover. A month.
A company like this one could easily cover [heh] its expenses for things like staff salaries, art, copyrights, merchandise production and promotion. And if the recent Bloom event is anything to go by, they're managing to earn enough to put on occasional bigger events that require greater funding. Cover is doing well.
If there's any concern I have, it's that they forcibly graduate lower-earning chuubas to raise profits by not spending money on those who just drain funds.

There is no real burden to keep a low-earner since the cost of streaming are all burdened by the streamer and YT to host their content. The only thing they pay is the salary of their manager and more often than not, their manager handles several vtubers so that solves problem outright.
