I realize it's the way the song is written so there's not a lot of room to show off, but that was pretty bland with the exception of the little rap interjection in the middle. That was a nice surprise to give it some personality, but the rest felt off with the light and airy voice compared to the haunting beat and way she emphasized the hard sounds in the lyrics. Compare that to the cover of the same song by Ratio, where her aggressive bite comes through even in the first verse. Her voice also could stand to be much more forward, since we're listening to a vocalist's cover and not the original where the song itself is the point. Still not bad, though the way she tries to go high on the pumpkin pie part in the last verse sounds strained. I'd like to see her cover something slightly more interesting, but Kronii didn't ruin her voice with aggressive autotune so that's a positive. Hope she gets a professional next time instead of clocktits, since it's not like she can't afford it.

I'm not sure I like the heavy vocal effects Tona put on his own singing at the start, doesn't really fit the simple and laid back style of the rest of the track and the simple beauty of Hachi's singing. They sound good in the duet section where he drops them, so it's not like he needed them to not embarrass himself singing next to her. The tempo switch in the middle is really fucking nice, though, and I love the crescendo it all builds to though I do feel slightly got cucked out of the ending with how it suddenly stops and drops back down to almost nothing.

The nice thing is that you can edit your response to the form, so if you realize you missed something, you can go back and change it. I realized that Live Again is too old, so I changed it to End of a Life, and completely redid my MV section to Golden Bats by Boogey and Ciel's first original. I considered bumping Watame for Towa's Palette as well, but I really like the MV style with their model. Honestly, there's been a bunch of great music that's come out this year, it's pretty nice to have the problem of trying to narrow it down to just 5.

this one's fine but it sounds a bit too anisong-y for my taste, i guess i should've expected it since afaik Kanzaki has produced most of the V.W.P songs but the chorus doesn't have a lot of oomph to it until the final one and the instrumental is also fairly meh. i had a similar feeling with Dennou but i enjoyed the instrumental a bit more there.

hopefully they'll release Sensen, Kotodama and Kyoumei soon, those and Metamorphosis sounded better.
