Youtube doesn't count streams on mute as views and it doesn't count streams open in other tabs as views. This way you can watch Nijisanji without giving views.

2) Algos.
3) Collab games need to be easy to learn so there's not hours worth of off-stream (which nobody ever does) tutoring before the collab can even happen.

That being said. It's utterly retarded to stream Phasmo rather than Ghost Hunter Corp. Phasmo streams cannot be monetized so they're effectively working for free. Several VODs had to be pulled over a single dono message that slipped through before monetization got turned off.
Especially with Covid and thus a reduced amount of merch sales (which make up the majority of revenue IIRC) there is no logical reason to keep streaming this unless you enjoy it THAT much, which a lot seem not to.

the big problem is a lot of them stream during the same prime time hours. So as much as I like watching Elira or Finana play Genshin, it's not as immediate a priority as Pomu doing a shower stream or something.

Credit to Rosemi and Pomu, they don't seem to have been hit as hard. Maybe because they go off the beaten path more. Perhaps Elira and Finana need to do more streams that (feel) like they can't be seen elsewhere.

Kuso games only go so far but I think everyone's looking forward to Selen play Peppa Pig because it seems like a good wall for her to play off. They need to find more things that let their own charms shine.
