I only really watch Hololive but I don't hate NijiEN. I just don't have time to watch them given how much content I have to watch first from Hololive. The thing with big corpos with big groups is the potential. You have a number of contacts that you can utilize if you just do your nip reps and networking reps. It's harder if you are a nobody. Nobody even cares for Hololive at this point, Nijisanji is smart by focusing on their home turf instead of chasing rapid but fickle global market. Slowly but surely, having a strong home market will at least give you a safety net to fall back to. The same thing can be said for Niji's other markets as they are also solidifying their markets as well. Thanks to Niji's good relation with BB, I think their market there can one day rival A-Soul. Vtuber doesn't need explosive growth but being steady enough to support future stars is also the best strategy for now.

I doubt they are looking for a specific game streamer. In Hololive interactions have become the main sell, so the primary thing they want people that work decently enough with other people. Sure there is some untapped potential of viewers in FPS for Hololive, but is that demographic someone you can get to watch the other content as well? Better find a variety streamer if you want someone with a streamer background for the new gen.

Not the same anon but I think he's referring to Selens collab a few days ago. Selen's baseline has always been around 2k+. FPS collabs brings in double her normal viewership but at that point, the increase can be attributed to the collab and tourist instead of Selen. NijiEns general audience remains at 6-7k which Selen has an exclusive 2k share while the rest of NijiEn has to fight for the remaining 5k. Their audience has not increased since Obsydias debut.
