I made myself sad tonight with my pokemon nuzlockes. Almost teamwiped in Platinum at cycling road after already losing 2 at Eternia Galactic building, setting me back hours in upcoming grinding. Then I tried doing a hyper randomized Emerald (Starter, trainer, and wild pokemon + Moves + types + move types, power, acc + abilities + items) and died before getting pokeballs like 3 times. Gave myself a headache trying to keep track of pokemon types and moves.

Decided to cheer myself up with a quick dry run of this prompt. I couldn't decide what kind of tone to really do for this one so I just sorta winged it after a while.

I think people do it to be less lonely, honestly. But the stress of trying to "make it" and maintain growth brings out the worst in already-unstable people. I think if chuuba were entirely normal they wouldn't be chuuba. That's why the most stable ones are usually the ones who are a little older or have a full job outside of it. I'm always leery of the 20-year-old leaping into this, it just feels like a breeding ground for maladjusted people.

1. It's complicated. 4chan, for better or worse, has always been a haven for internet outsiders and pariahs to conglomerate to and share their views. Board culture is very real, due to the anonymity the level of engagement could never be matched with sites like Reddit and Twitter.
