While that sentiment probably hasn't changed, she definitely got more chill about singing over the summer. Particularly since she had to specifically mention that she loves singing and it's not like she hates singing. She did an unarchived acapella last month which was a first in like a year.
But she still has this innate resistance to actual karaoke which for the life of me I can't understand. I feel that's gonna be one of the things she needs to adapt to and actually work with, rather than ignore entirely. Like it or not, karaoke is far more accessible for casual viewers, it's easier to clip individual songs and spread her performances of them (while acapella needs fan edits adding music if it's going to sound like an actual karaoke), and it simply has more energy. Easiest point of comparison, just look at Moona's karaoke streams to see all those strengths in action (she hates this comparison btw). Growth and a plan to achieve it is mandatory, enforced by management. With the exceptional talent Risu has in singing, streams utilizing it are by far the most effective means at her disposal to maintain / increase growth.

It's clear that Risu doesn't want her entire identity to just be "the singing one", and that's all. Which is fair. But she also hasn't been able to clearly establish any lasting and impactful identity to the broader hololive fanbase. There's no brand to work with there. And that's pretty emblematic of Risu's main problem right now, outside of a couple specific projects she's sort of unfocused and directionless.
