The debut is really the only barrier. Once that happens, the models can be used for HoloGra episodes with voice acting done remotely and Mori can do 3D stuff whenever she can get to studio

I'd be willing to bet you can find a 3D capture studio in or near most major cities. Whether it's compatible with their needs would be the question. They may also just want to keep everything in-house and so chose not to rent.

It really just depends on how much it's worth to them to have 3D ENs -- a plane ticket to/from Japan and a multi-night stay at a hotel in Tokyo (or do they intend to have them shack up at the other Holo's homes?) might cost more in the long run than setting up satellite studios in Indonesia, Australia, USA, Germany, etc, particularly if you then turn around and rent time to others from those studios when not using them for your own productions.

Your ignored all the good shit that could from flying them there tho. The first EN offcollba, ENs meeting JPs in person, How many 3D streams with the JPs they can do during their visit period. It would surely be a prett big even, people would fucking kill to finally have GurAme in the same room interacting in 3D.

Is there any reason they can't just make the models ahead of time and use them in hologra until the covid restrictions are lifted? You don't need tracking for hologra, just the models and voice work.
