1. She's extremely girly. I'm way into that. I know people like tomboys but for me I just like vain prissy gossipy girly types, and out of all of EN Kiara is the farthest in that direction.
2. She's extremely dedicated to keeping her streams entertaining. No dead air. Constant stream of consciousness from her bird brain directly channeled without any kind of filter or consideration. This makes for some great insights and off-the-cuff observations and makes the overall experience feel really intimate.
3. She's funny. I think people who don't watch her don't realize this, but I love how she makes up the most weird random ass shit that she develops into overly elaborate running gags and inside jokes with her fans. The fact that there's so much lore about a make-believe fast food restaurant where employees have to pay HER for the privilege of working there, where the fact that the chickens are also the food on the menu is treated as an open secret, is just really funny to me, even though I know it's not everyone's kind of humour. But even with the games she's playing, she has the greatest "what if" tangents that she chases down regarding the things in there which make me nostalgic for the kinds of random ass conversations I had with my friends in high school.
4. She's easy to root for. Kiara has a great underdog appeal and she seems like someone who has genuinely been dealt kind of a shitty hand in life starting to make something good of it. She's not really unique in EN for this (Amelia also has the same kind of thing going on), it's just a little added thing that I love about her.
5. She's talented. Definitely working out the kinks of her singing but making a lot of progress in that regard. Actually good artist and I wish she'd do more drawing streams because I love her retro art style.
6. She's creative. These large-scale projects she undertakes that she puts tons of effort into produce a lot of great content. The large collaborations for example that she is instrumental in organizing, or Holotalk which is a must-see every time it's on, and gets better every time she does it.

1. Of the Hololive EN talents, she's the one that does the most to make her fans feel engaged and involved in the stuff she does; i.e. being open to backseating, doing a thorough job of superchat reading, taking questions for the Holotalks, etc.

Why is /vt/ obsessed with her?

Nothing. But what I've seen of her fans has been more than enough to not want to consume her content.

I don't really watch or care about Kiara, but I like that she's always lively and enthusiastic about her work, it really doesn't seem that she takes it for granted. It honestly doesn't look that way for most girls, but Kiara seems to wear her emotions on her sleeve and every time I happen to catch her she really seems to be enjoying every second of her Hololive career. I'm more of a chill stream kind of person so she doesn't appeal to me, but different strokes for different blokes I guess.

She is such a great conversationalist even the people who dislike her cannot deny it. Her earnestness. She's so genuine, so intimate with people in a way that I think comes from how extroverted she is. She's the kind of person who will just sit next to you at a party and you won't have to worry about what you'll talk about because they will carry the whole conversation. She goes deep and sees nothing as sacred. She is a fan of Hololive & won't produce the kind of content she wouldn't herself enjoy, which shows she has a kind of respect for her own medium, if that makes sense. She's SO funny, she has this very weird outside-the-box way of looking at things, she comes up with the most strange tangents and just follows their own internal logic with total confidence that her audience is keeping up with her, it gives that kind of feeling you get from anime like Lucky Star or Yuyushiki where it reminds me of the strange hypothetical conversations I used to have with my nerdy friends as a kid, where she'll just be playing Animal Crossing and she'll be like "wait isn't that kind of weird?" about some specific element of the story and it's just so pleasant to laugh at the things she notices that I would have otherwise overlooked. I just get this really intimate nostalgic feeling watching Kiara, like she's exactly the kind of girl I would have fallen for hard when I was younger, she's this blend of "manic pixie dream girl" in the way she yanks people out of their comfort zones (in collabs for instance), and authentic nerd who loves "hidden gem" media and wants to strongly recommend you that one anime you've never heard of that she personally thinks is amazing. She's just fucking great dude. Everything about her is just exactly what I love in a girl. She's my dream girl.
