There is no "gender issue" in Hololive. The entertainment Hololive provides is almost completely different from what Nijisanji provides. I'm in a similar boat to you, I had a dead day 1 membership to Ame that I kept around until this month for old times sake even though her star had faded for me over the summer. I started watching Suichan around the same time Ame debuted but only membered her two months ago.

Would I rather have been a 12 month Hoshiyomi? Sure, but hindsight is always 20/20. Be proud of the support you have for your oshi today rather than worrying about a badge or membership length that no one pays attention to anyway.
