Formations are merely one part of the tactical aspect of a team. There are player cards (abilities you can give to each player), sliders (determine how exactly the team plays, i.e. going for counters, using long ball, pressing high, etc.), player height distribution (height abuse was once a thing on 4cc), on top of the RNG aspects that are intrinsic to PES and honestly dictate a significant chunk of a match's outcome. Being able to make changes during the match also helps, but this league opted not to have that.
Maybe in future iterations the league will have more esports but I'm fine with this.

Lamy team was also unlucky with /morig/ due to a stellar keeping performance by 5%. Lamy also had one of their key players, El Ramy, down on other matches which was meant to be the link between the defense and offense, but had poor performances with a lowered condition in /vsj+/ and /morig/.

/tsun/ is a 3-5-2 with a weird backline and not perfectly placed, definitely an interesting one, stacking the midfield making sure the ball can get upfield to their players.
/wah/ is typical 4-4-2 diamond like /hfz/ and /yah/, not much to say besides it forcing the team to go down the middle.
/niji/ is a 5-3-2 with left and right back defenders running up the field down the play, nothing really surprising here as well.
/vsj+/ is a penis, but fluid which forces their star player, Malady to run down the field when they get possession and run back when out of possession.
/pcclg/ is a 3-4-3 with an arrow like shape being formed with the front line, highly encourages attacking play but leaves them weak defensively.
/yubicraft/ is a 3-4-3 with a diamond midfield and 3 strikers, forces them to run down the middle and attack as well.
Not sure if you're completely new to sport but I can try to explain if you're not sure what this means, first number is number of defenders, second number is number of midfielders, third number is number of strikers/forwards.

I don't think the rest of the league is a walkover, though. We've already shown that /yah/ is a coinflip matchup for us, and /vsj+/ and /niji/ aren't slouches, either. It was a high defensive line for that /niji/, and going -1 and -2 on the other games stopped that weakness. You don't necessarily need to have stuff on defensive marked for there to be defensive play, games after the first one they had wingbacks on for defensive and it mattered, but a lot of it can be attributed to those mentalities.
