Regarding the F.U.C.K. reports, only Numbers Review is in any way automated. The rest are done completely by hand.
Numbers Review just has too much data to go through for me to do it by hand. It was taking almost 2-3 hours to do it some days, more if I was also collecting data for other reasons. That's one of the reasons I switched to doing it weekly for a bit. A 2-hour task is now like 10 minutes.

If you're trying to use an instrumental to make an a capella, grabbing the audio off YouTube is a death sentence for the whole project. It has to be a perfect match to work.
Very grug way of doing it, inverting the instrumental and laying it over the song can leave you with just the vox. If it works, it's cleaner sounding than any "vocal isolation" VST plugins could ever hope to be. But no, I don't think the current gacha is in a good place. Sure it drains money from the economy but it's causing users legitimate pain rather than being enjoyable. There are dozens of hats and having a real chance to get the hat you want once a month doesn't seem all that outrageous to me.
Implementing the auction-house requires a bunch of coding and testing and has potential for a bunch of bugs.
Adding another 50% check to each roll that successfully nets a hat on the other hand is not all that complicated, and adding a simple rate-up graphic consisting of the item graphic and a simplistic "X Hat rate up" banner would take all of a day if that.
I guess the "harder" part would be making it automatically rotate so devchama doesn't have to manually change the rate-up every day.

It works in gacha because you just powercreep units so people have to keep rolling. Here people just want to wear their oshii's hat, once they get it they aren't rolling anymore unless they are a collector in which case they were rolling anyways.

The gacha has two main roles:

With the gacha here, there is no point in offering methods to reduce spending on the game, because it runs counter to both of the intended points of the mechanic. If the amount of money needed to get something from the gacha is a concern to you, then you are literally too poor for the gacha to be relevant to you, and should keep investing and amassing wealth.
