Discovered her through this video. Suisei just chilling and talking about her real life felt refreshing compared to everyone else who had either scripted videos or wacky clips.
Then she sang Hotel Moonside during her 3D debut and became my oshi. Her Hitman stream the next day was hilarious and sealed the deal.

I know this is a pasta but it pretty much sums up everything I like about her.
She's living the dream yet she's very approachable. Her personality is both the ideal yet you can also say that she's someone like (You). Even then, she's the embodiment of living by doing what you love. She puts up one of the least facades in hololive, she is quite literally her character, making it easier to get to know her. Her humor is crude, but that only serves to elevate her cute side even more when she shows it off. Her competitive nature makes her one of the holos that are very tolerable to watch because most of the time she's not acting like a headless chicken. Her never give up attitude is really inspiring and isn't particularly overbearing. The contrast of being a cool idol in her performances while being a massive dork in her streams is something she does very well at balancing. She's one of the holos who work their hardest to put on a show for her fans because she wants to, not because she wants to get money out of it. She makes her 3D lives free so everyone can see it and talk about it, and only asks that people give her more work to do rather than making people purchase it. She has simple tastes and loves in life, and she doesn't let anything get between her and achieving them.

She is simultaneously the "Otaku Idol" that you cheer for on the stage, and the "Idol Otaku" that cheers for her beside you. HOSIMATI_SUISEI.

I didn't really pay attention to the whole vtuber thing at first because I thought it was just girls hiding behind an avatar as they played games badly to prey on the wallets of morons. I was talking to a friend about this and he showed me Suisei playing Tetris. I was impressed that she was good at the game, was playing a game that she actually enjoyed (because Tetris is the furthest thing from a good game for farming donations), and was determined in the way she played it (this was the stream where she was battling snipers in the VIP lobby for 6+ hours). Then I heard her sing, and I was almost completely sold on her. What really closed the deal for me, however, was her demeanor. I really respect for her for being candid with her audience yet also maintaining a proper relationship with them, for never pandering to the schizos even a little bit, and for having great ambitions that she's working hard to achieve.

Among Us is a game of conversation. I don't understand why people keep expecting Suisei to be a master at this game when Project Winter is completely different.
The reason why she's good at Project Winter is because you mechanically had a way of fighting back on both sides even after the facade wears off. That's what Suisei excels in. Among Us is closer to a board game like Ultimate Werewolf.

It's kind of why people keep talking about Unfortunate Spacemen when people bring up this game, but that game is a bigger and broken mess than Among Us.
I doubt anyone, license wise and all, would be willing to play it when it's as stable as that SCP multiplayer game.

She streams regularly, but they're regularly short streams. She only had more stream time in 2020 than Sora, Ayame, and Miko (even less than gen 5 who debuted in almost September). And Ayame and Miko went very long times without streaming due to health.

She's content with the way she does things streaming longer hours would only burn her out, She's more active outside of streaming than most Holo's with live shows and cover songs etc.
You have to be careful with a career like this because burn out is very easy, Thankfully she knows when to take breaks like when she took a week off last year.
