Being constantly reminded that you're dependant on delivering creative content non-stop in order to feed yourself, possibly paired with a certain degree of future anxiety ("I can do this only so long until I'll become irrelevant"), is a heavy mental burdan that can really mess you up badly and burn you out to the point of leaving a passion for good. And it's something that does not only apply to vtubing, but literally everything you indulge yourself from a passion/hobby point of view.

She was probably referring to her wagie job but after consulting with fans decided she'd rather be a full-time vtuber and quit her job. This was probably something she was thinking about after passing a company's audition and wasn't sure if it was worth the hassle of going corporate or continuing to be a part-time indie vtuber.
Expect her to reincarnate but I don't think there's any PH vtuber companies so she'll probably end up in an EN one. Not Nijisanji though, their EN 3rd wave is too far along for someone to graduate their indie persona this late in the process.
