>EN Vtuber tourney. Super Gay Autist Edition
>Day 2 seeding
https://forms.gle/CV9UkTNepfXuJ71ZA

Day 2 will close at about 4am - 5am UTC.

I messed up and thought 112 would make the bracket. After redoing math I found out that the number should be 96 in the Ro128.
I forgot some indies so I am going to leave their voting open for another 12-16 hours. If you'd like to vote for the forgotten indies so they might make the bracket, go here:
>Forgotten Indies Final Chance
https://forms.gle/CBfNg4kqy7DWb8vE7
If I missed your 2view oshi, you shouldn't watch Gura because she's mean.

>Day 1 results
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfA9kFkD6uh03uT2U1QWE3gpWICcPlfnpQhqrX6Dy2D6P3sCg/viewanalytics

Day 2 is the seeding round. Groups are final, but the average score within groups will determine the seed in that group. Feel free to leave any chuubas score blank. Because I added more indies late, I'm making a few forms for today. You can participate in as many as you like.

Because qualification is determined only based on the number of votes, it is possible that a forgotten indie will have a higher score than someone who got more votes on day 1. But votes are for qualifying and scores are for seeding, thus a forgotten indie with a 10 score can still not make the final bracket if they don't receive enough votes.

>responses are public so anyone can see them

>rules and schedule

>2: rating round - Rate each VT 1-10, skip who you don't like.
>Groups
Top 8, 9-16, 17-32, 33-48, and everyone else.
>The average rating of each vtuber determines their seed within their group.
For example, in the top 8, if the lowest rating is 3.2 and in the 9-16 group the lowest rating is 3.8, the vtuber in the top 8 from round 1 would be seeded #8, and the lowest in the 9-16 is seeded #16 despite having a higher rating.
>96 vtubers make the elimination bracket, based on day 1 votes. Tiebreaks will be based on the combination of average score and votes. Some tiebreakers might be determined by random number generator.

>3: single elimination tournament
day 3: Round 1 (80/96) "Ro128" with 80 contestants and 16 seeds waiting in a later round (32, 64)
day 4: Round 2 (48) "Ro64" with 48 contestants and 8 seeds waiting in a higher round (ro32)
Ties will not be broken. Any ties will move both participants into the next round together, where 3 or more vtubers will face off instead of 2.

>5: double elimination tournament
day 5: Ro32 with 32 contestants
day 6: Ro16 Winners, Round 1 Losers (16 from Ro32 -> 8 to R2L)
day 7: Round 2 Losers (16: 8 from Ro16, 8 from R1L -> 8 to R3L)
day 8: Ro8 Winners, Round 3 Losers (8 from R2L -> 4 to R4L)
day 9: Round 4 Losers (8: 4 from Ro8, 4 from R3L -> 4 to R5L)
day 10: Winners Semifinal, Round 5 Losers (4 from R4L -> 2 to R6L)
day 11: Round 6 Losers (4: 2 from Ro4, 2 from R5L -> 2 to R7L)
day 12: Winners Final, Round 7 Losers (2 from R6L -> 1 to Losers Final)
day 13: Losers Final (2: 1 from Winners Final, 1 from R7L -> Grand Final)
Ties will not be broken. Any ties will move both participants into the next round together, where 3 or more vtubers will face off instead of 2. Ties are considered wins and keep the group in the winners bracket if possible.

>6: single elimination tournament
day 14: Grand Final (Winner of Winners vs Winner of Losers, 1 vote takes all)
Note: if Grand Final is between two participants that have already gone head-to-head, the total number of votes across both matches will be used to determine the winner. However, votes in the grand final will count twice. For example, if in match one, A had 100 votes and B had 50 votes, and in the grand final, A had 50 votes and B had 76 votes, B would win the grand final. The total scores would be A = 100 + (50*2) = 200, and B = 50 + (76*2) = 202. B's 75 would result in a tie with 200 points for both sides, and if B won the grand final 74 to 50, A would win the entire tournament.
Otherwise, the Grand Final will be a single match winner takes all.
If the Grand Final results in a tie, the final will stay a tie and there will be multiple winners.

So far Zentreya seems to have the highest percentage of 1's among all vtubers.

I don't think google forms have this kind of functionality, but it would be cool to set a faggot-filter - if a person rates more than, let's say, five vtubers as 1, his vote doesn't count. That way we could eliminate many faggots who just rate everyone as 1.
Zentreya fully deserves those 1's though

Eira 18
Kitanya Nyanta (africat) 25

Vienna 18

Siska Leontyne 17
alicesawyer 17
nekoreen 15

Derem Kado 18

I thought about having pre-selected scores for everyone but it didn't make sense at the time because it might be confusing for people who fill in the scores out of order. "Who did I already rate again?" And then there's the problem of do you start the score at 1 or 5...
Anyway, the way it turned out seems pretty legit so far. The more popular a chuuba is the more votes they will have, and each of those votes will count for less in the overall average. So actually smaller indies have an advantage here if they are well liked by people who know them.

>> No.10669577

I'm thinking about doing some smaller tourneys later with categories and such. I don't know if I'm the best one to do those. I did miss several huge names in the indie scene after all, even some that didn't make the forgotten indies list. Maybe I will make a bracket for everyone who didn't make it to the top 96, who knows. No promises though.
It might be fun to do a massive JP tourney too but that just seems like a giant effort unless I simply limited it to larger corpos.
Ah, the idea I had for smaller ones was, to let the smaller corpos compete with each other like CyberLive, PRISM Project, and Tsunderia and some others. That might be fun too.
