Some can argue that 430k subs on YT means she isn't small but when most of her stuff is on Twitch nowadays with 30k followers there I say otherwise. Plus there's the argument that a lot of YT subs are dead now, and most people are watching others like hololive but Moe is still around, making various content and streaming games on Twitch.

It might have to do with youtube still being the primary place for chuubas with nico, bili and twitch tagging along. And also being the primary link between any JPchuuba and the world, IMO twitch being too western for asia and bili and nico being too asian for the west. Coupled along with youtube being the birthing ground of this, Kizuna and the rest. there's probably more reasons but that's off the top of my head.

Twitch just hasn't hit as youtube yet but that could change, but personally I'm just not a fan of twitch.

moe in a tuff spot it seems, her prime time was 2019 when eilene and the team were helping out, they use to have a translator to make subs for the jp audience but it stopped mid-2019 because they were just volunteers. Not sure if they had clippers that time? Someone mentioned last year early February Youtube's algorithm favored hololive and nijisanji plus a shit ton of clippers and translators - surprisingly getting more views and subs compared to the indie channels at the time. That's all I could come up with...too many factors involved that changed the vtuber landscape in 2020.
