Absolutely, I was actually thinking that myself since it is sad to see Bakatare without lore. I have two conditions however, and that is you use your map for Bakatare, (I'll think of the language, government, etc., give me a little bit on that) and that you try to line up my map with yours. I don't want you to bother doing my whole nation, just what is shown in your current map! Exciting ideas, overall that I think will really make our region alive after many months of being totally dead. The idea of us linking all of this history together is exciting to me as well; I loved how the Nijifriends did/are doing that because it allows us to establish a unified timeline. I'll get back to you tomorrow about my basic ideas about Bakatare that would be essential to your map.
