I decided to look a bit deeper for the origin of Al Landis. So the name Al in Old English can mean bright or noble so my guess is that when they all saw his first model, they all assumed the old man would definitely fit in the “noble” category and “bright” too I guess considering Aruran’s education.

So overall my conclusion, the name Al Landis is probably a name that means “Noble Highwayman” to Cover and just decided to translate it to Japanese in the end so that there would be no confusion on why everyone had a Japanese name in Holostars except for Arurandeisu
