The most common reason I've heard from the community is that they have the impression that they can have more casual, laid-back streams on twitch. I've heard the same thing from Kanae and Arisaka.
Arisaka said that the YT vid watchers have an expectation of him to be super high tension, and he thinks his twitch viewers might not have that expectation so he can be more relaxed and low tension when streaming on twitch.
I don't if it was Mafuyu or Nacho that said this but they said they feel like they can get away with dead air for longer periods of time on twitch.
