A reminder that the director for Twin Snakes was hand picked by Kojima and he originally did all the cut scenes 1 for 1 with the original and Koijma personally rejected them.
Kojima wanted the game to be over the top and for Snake to larger than life.
It's funny how people support Kojima for anything he does, except when he releases the definitive version of a game on another system exclusively.
