At LEAST MtG gas some different formats. From commander to the restricted to formats to shit like drafts and cubes. YGO is literally just nonstop powercreep that somewhat manages to make the game worse and worse each passing day when the game was already subpar to begin with. At best you have formats like GOATS and Edison where you play the same 5 decks from 10 years ago.
And now MtG is throwing weebs a bone by hiring top tier jap illustrators too.
