It's more that these corporations are obviously trying to sucker mentally ill dipshits into bad talent contracts. Realistically, who would you rather have at your corporation:
>Actually driven talent who genuinely understand what it means to operate in a performance-based industry (and therefore understand how hard you're fucking their ass in a talent contract)
>Total social rejects who have very little if any experience in the real world and no clue about any sort of contracts overall, and have little options outside of working with your corporation
You're 100% gonna want the social rejects with no prospects, because then they're tied to your company and will likely never leave.
Also yeah, anyone actually creative and driven isn't going to apply to be a fucking vtuber. They probably have a real job, and outside of a few outliers like Vox, most full-time creative jobs pay better then being a vtuber.
