Everyone, please let me review this new hololive fangame called HOLO BUNSHIN DAIBAKUSOU!
https://wawawa2022.itch.io/holobunshindaibakusou
It's a cute and charming danmaku fangame about incident where unknown perpetrator distributes water that clones holos when drank and everyone ends up rampaging around!
This game has two playable characters, Miko and Fubuki, in order to unlock Fubuki you need to finish as Miko, they have mostly separate story lines except for the third stage that is shared
Gameplay between characters us mostly identical outside of cosmetics but Fubuki's shot type is a bit more compact
The gameplay itself is pretty basic, you just move around shooting and avoid bullets and lasers, there's no focus button but it's not really needed due to slow speed of player. There are also bombs and very basic shot leveling system as well as focused shooting mode that enables you to quickly take down enemies while rapidly burning through your mana that you acquire slowly by hitting enemies
There's also minor problem with hitboxes but due to game showering you with bombs and lives it doesn't really matter

Now that the boring parts are over let's focus on the real shit, that is the plot and bullet patterns!
The plot is cute, it's in English too!
The bullets patterns themselves start out really basic and boring but rapidly ramp up by fourth stage on Miko's route and through nearly entirely of Fubuki's route outside of stage 3 that is stupid easy, getting ganked by Ayame pulling out a discount Duplex Barrier in middle of the stage was fun!
The patterns themselves will most likely be pretty recognizable to people that played touhou before too but it's not really a bad thing
Based on my try of hard mode it seems that everything gets amped up to actually fun level from the start so I would recommend checking it out if you found the easy stages too boring, sadly it seems the plot remains the same

Also music good, holo remixes
