There is no rational reason or objective value you get from watching someone else just sit there and play videogames. Not even at a competitive level.
Just kinda sitting there babbling about stuff, and also them expecting money from you.
Do you think you could just forget about your job and play games all day and expect to make thousands of dollars? It's peak entitlement.

Until you understand that the value you get from watching them is not rational, but emotional. Vtubers are there to make you feel a certain way. Just like all forms of art, they inspire emotions in people. Emotions so compelling that people feel like donating and supporting that thing.

At least with anime they have the decency to give credit to the actor. Vtuber is even more dishonest.

But I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It's just the art and entertainment business. Many artists understand their position and audience, and there is also those who are entitled and expect money just for spouting their opinions, then blaming the audience for any blowback.

Simply, don't watch people like kronii who don't really have any interest in you. She hates her model, she hates males from the tweets of her PL. You mean nothing to them.
