Oh gee, oh golly. Speaking of Doraemon, did you know it has a twin brother? Not the character, but the show itself. Doraemon was developed side by side with Kiteretsu Daihyakka, a show where the premise and characters are the same, but just shifted a little bit differently. Doraemon is replaced by a cute little robot with a topknot.

It’s actually the series that Hajimete no Chu comes from, and even though that’s a song that every vtuber fan definitely knows of, few actually know about the show it originates from.

The show is slightly more blatant in getting into dark topics. Here’s a scene where one character seemingly gets shot live on Japanese television. That’s not to say that Doraemon isn’t dark by itself. There’s a scene where Nobita and Doraemon have to stop his father from committing suicide by walking into the ocean, to prevent a grandfather (more like father in this case) paradox.

That’s all for now, goodnight, Novelites! Chu~

Writefagging a thought that came to mind, based on something I went through once, it was a comfortable time.
>You're laying in bed, coughing
>Seems you got what Shiori had, was the last kiss too much?
>You can't stop coughing, the back of your throat hurts, your chest hurts, your head is heating up and feels heavy
>Shiori calls your phone, but you can't even answer properly
>You just send her a msg instead
>"Feeling really sick, sorry."
>About an hour later
>You've faded into sleep, it wasn't comfy at all, it was more like your body just decided to shut down
>Shiori pulls up a chair
>She's sitting next to your bed side
>You feel something on your forehead, it's wet, but you're unsure what it is
>You've been pulled out of your sleep
>You slowly open your eyes
>You feel the thing on your forehead, it's a wet towel
>She covers your eyes and gently whispers
>"Shh, keep your eyes closed, leave it to me today Anon."
>She places the wet towel on your forehead again, readjusting it slightly as it shook a little when you tried to get up
>You feel comfortable despite the sick feeling creeping in
>She leans in and kisses your cheek, then opens a book
>You try to re-adjust a little for her
>She sighs a little, but her soft smile never fades, you can feel it even with your eyes closed
>She gets on the bed with you, sitting
>She then guides your head to her lap
>She starts reading out loud to you
>Your consciousness slowly fades away again, far more comfortable than the first time.
>She gently pats your head as you fall asleep, whilst still reading out loud to you.

Death doesn't exist. It never did, it never will. But we've drawn so many pictures of it, so many years, trying to pin it down, comprehend it, we've got to thinking of it as an entity, strangely alive and greedy. All it is, however, is a stopped watch, a loss, an end, a darkness. Nothing.

>I'll be whatever you want me to be. Your friend, your sister, your wife, your girlfriend your... mommy. Anything.
>I just want to see you reach your best selves.

Uh... Shiori, what the fuck are you doing? You can't just pander to your audience like that. You have to tell the people who are supporting you that they're all terrible and pieces of shit who need to grow up (but also give her money). This is simply an outrage. The job of an entertainer is to repeatedly insult their audience, not entertain them, doesn't Shiori understand this?

She decided long ago that life was a long journey. She would be strong, and she would be weak, and both would be okay.

>You wake up
>You open your eyes, yawn, and try to get up
>Your body can't move
>You hear a giggle
>It's a very familiar giggle. You've heard it before
>"Good morning Anon, as a surprise for today, you are now the actor in my story"
>What did she mean? You try to speak but your mouth can't move and no sound can be made
>She exclaims, as if reading from a book, or, perhaps issuing a command
>Anon opens his mouth and asks "Whatever do you mean, Miss Novella?"
>Your mouth inexplicably opens and the exact words she uttered are now being said by you
>"Whatever do you mean, Miss Novella?"
>You feel helpless, but since it's from her, you don't exactly mind it

Lovecraftian cosmic horror is about Universe's incomprehensible scale and indifference, with the sea often used as a vehicle for that. The Rats in the Walls is an odd one out for him because it's not cosmic horror but the author is still the same. Delapore's forgotten bloodline and ancient animalistic rites thousands of years in the making are what drives him insane. It's kind of the same theme but turned into the past instead of outwards. What cursed existence living on timescales of millenia could (you) be a part of and would you ever know before realizing that you own a cat named Niggerman?
