Here's how you know Crunchyroll sponsored it:
1) the song is on Crunchyroll's Youtube channel, not any NijiEN Youtube channel
2) Millie's tweet about it has #pr hashtag, meaning it was sponsored
So if it wasn't for Crunchyroll, there would be no song.
Compare this to Luxiem, who didn't need an outside sponsor to get their song - it was all spearheaded internally by staff, with a complete set of internal merch to boot
