First of all, I'm leaning towards him being full of shit and trying to start a cross thread fanbase war or something, Shondo would be a change of pace. Second, if you think it sucks to be treated like this a fan or have at least seen the many, many fucking posts saying as much, it's not a stretch to assume it's just as bad if not worse from the perspective of another streamer.

Maybe? Stream beforehand and actually talk about stuff, that's it. Whether she streams on her birthday or doesn't is irrelevant, despite how fucking silly that sounds. No matter which you believe will happen, not doing anything at all until the absolute deadline is gonna push a bunch more people into 'it's over' territory. Either she came back to sell something or she didn't come back and things are so bad that she isn't around on her own birthday. The only way out of this situation is for her to handle it rather than ignore it.
Seriously, this breached containment a while ago but it's only gotten worse. The people I know who would say shit about bare minimum stream quotas and shilling don't even get told to take meds anymore, even the positive 'it's not that bad' motherfucker in my own circle just gives a lol or a smug emoji in response now. If you think this place has no faith it's even worse outside.
