yeah the first series ending in The last Olympian is pretty solid. Kinda dated on some aspects but still a really enjoyable read which duplicates if you are story buff like me
the roman saga is...less than great, specially near the end because Riordan made a lot of changes to his writing, the biggest one was changing from focusing on one character's POV and moving into several Povs, which works great when there's 3 characters but becomes a mess by the end when he's juggling 8 or so.
Magnus chase isnt great, at least from what i remember because it has a really boring main character and a less than ideal cast, atlough i liked the muslim valkyrie, she was a really interestingh character also many poltards sperged out when he started including more gay and black people on his books so Riordan doubled down to ''own them'' and ended with a lot of undercooked characters.
Personally? as a teenager my favorite was the kane chronicle's because the magic there was really fun and the characters were far more likeable, but unlike the others i havent read them in a long time so i dont know how it aged
