I promised this two threads ago so here it is. I didn't want to write this until I saw Hime going full retard. Apologies in advance if this makes no sense I'm drunk on cheap wine.

>On Hime, Male Vtuber Collabs, and Audience vs Content:
Yesterday there was a momentous collaboration between Phase Connect, Hololive, and Holostars. On the surface this may seem like a massive win however let's look a little deeper into what this means. I'm mostly going to be talking about this from the perspective of the "collective bito" as Lia's audience and content is much different. To begin let's address some of the 75IQ Somalian handwaves;
>lol unicuck
>incel
>you aren't their boyfriend
I highly recommend using promocode "PANKOMANKO" for 50% off your next purchase on Amazon. I personally don't mind male collabs but there's an idea you need to be aware of, which is the "self-censoring" that happens. Imagine what would happen in a collab like this if instead of Lia yuribaiting with Ollie and "making out" with her, Rie pretended to make out with Flayon. How do you think that would go down for either audience? This isn't China/bilibili where they egg that kind of behavior on. Both sides are professionals and know their boundaries, which means that there's an automatic limit being placed on potential commentary and jokes that aren't present in a girl x girl stream. Like it or not, you are being delivered an inferior product as a result of industry standards.

Male collabs can be good but it depends on the streamer. Crazy idea I know, right? Tenma doesn't have a problem with it because of how she presents herself and how she built her community. Pippa doesn't have a problem with it except when she drags in drama obsessed faggots, which happens a lot. Lia used to have a problem with it but after Lietnam her audience shifted heavily. That last one is important to note. Following the incident Lia's audience changed massively over time. From the lowest low she rose to new heights and shifted her perspective on content creation and was able to achieve many of her goals.

Rie, however, has shifted her content focus many times and continues to. She has isolated and pushed out many fans and many niches over time. Do you like games? "I don't enjoy this and don't want to play these anymore." A few months later, "Actually I'm thinking of playing more bito suggestions." There's countless examples but Rie flits between content types and focus like an autistic cokefiend who is going to die in a month and wants to finish their bucket list.
>but anon, why does this matter?
Every time she's done this she's isolated parts of her audience, intentionally or no. The one part of her content, and her audience, that until now has been consistent has been the focus on GFE. She has focused on this because Rie is extremely insecure. As a result of all this Rie doesn't know what her content is, her audience doesn't know what her content is, and in a company with so many strong streamers and personalities a particular question has to be asked,
>why do people watch hime? what makes a person into a bito?
The answers to this are as vast as the ocean. I've heard from men, from women, from gamers, from musicians, turbovirgins and gigachads. Issue is, much of what they say brought them in has been dropped by Hime at one point. Worse, she'll offhandedly insult those viewers without even realizing. Many of those viewers I'm talking about have moved on.

>what does this mean for hime in particular?
To be frank I have no idea where she's going with this. I doubt she does either. Who does she want her audience to be? Where does her revenue come from? If we look at her stream career she's lost most of it over time and shored up the losses with HUEHUEs from Spanish streams and children from the initial shorts stream rush.

I think I'm close to drunken rambling so I want to pose a final series of questions to Rie directly: Who do you make content for? What do you make content for? Do you think your recent actions makes your audience happy? Would your father be proud of what you're doing?

tl;dr: Drunken incoherent schizo ramblings

Spoilerbito and his consequences have been a disaster for the bito fanbase.

Ah have fun I haven't touched COD in years. Everything after MW2 was a disappointment. BF1 briefly brought my interest back but they killed that too.

>She is greedy.
Hime's not greedy, just stupid and management is too mindless and overworked to advise her otherwise. Same management that schedule another donothon a week before hers as well as a major con appearance during.
