It's not the worst. I'm not going to pretend that I sometimes wish to have people with me. But it's a different experience and I quite like knowing where everything is and the state of things exactly since it's just you in there. The bots have gotten a lot better compared to before but they do still need to be issued commands. They're not the worst but anything that involves outside submarine business you gotta do it yourself.

I guess I'm not as affected by my fear of deep waters since it's 2d. It's really less fear for me and more on stress. Especially when the sub gets cracked open like a can of sardines and begins to rapidly descend into crushing depth. That shit causes my heart to race since it's a death sentence once you plunge past crush depth and I hate restarting rounds.

You want something worse. There's a mod that adds a ton of monsters and outside of the obvious big boys that roar loudly. There's this 1 mob that's an old wrecked submarine and it's been infested by shit, and you can hear it's radios and sonar going off from afar and the sound creeps the shit out of me.
