She told a story of bringing the first friend she made in Japan over and showing her Uncut Gems. Your boy told her it's not a comedy, but she still laughed a lot. When Mori asked her her thoughts on the movie, she said the gem must be a metaphor for Sandler himself and the multiple "faces" he shows to different people. Mori thought it was a bit surface-level, but added that said friend can also overthink something way too much, or hit the nail on the head sometimes.
