for some reason the default 'in school' slot was the problem, idk what variable is different but using the gym uniform slot fixed the disappearing polys. the other problem though is that the chubby skin type loads in strangely at first and keeps putting these pre-painted contours under the boobs which looks super off for how small the chest is
