Fun fact, a big part of why I don't plan on ever outlining the exact size of the Black Fleet is because I know it would just be used for timeloops and for people to numberfag their navies in relation to it.
Another factor is that the size of the navy varies quite a lot year to year.
Another is that the size of the Fleet would depend on the enemies threatening us, and quite a few threads joining the project are our sworn enemies in-lore, which means I might have to recalculate a sensible size for the fleet whenever a new thread joins, which would both be a pain and cause timeloops.
The Black Fleet is the size it needs to be to fulfill the roles asked of it in the stories it is a part of.
