It's just a nice lighthearted JRPG with solid gameplay and dungeons. I like the skill system in it a lot too, you learn and train skills by creating new weapons. Each character also has two different job promotions they can advance to which unlocks new weapons suited around their builds. The story is simple but well paced in the sense that cutscenes never slog on for too long before letting you back into the action. I cannot defend the censorship whatsoever but it doesn't change as much as complainers would lead you to believe. It has fantastic production values for its circumstances, the song performances and special attack animations are great and if you understand Japanese there's a ton of fun details in the battle dialogue, like multiple character specific lines for status effects.
