The spam is probably going to stop soon, there is no way the art tag can get spammed for that long without Polka or even Cover trying to do something about it, since it gives a bad image.
There are also more ways to do specific searches on Twitter, consider trying out "Advanced Search" (the three-dot icon near the search bar), it's very powerful and useful if you know how to use it.
